Kenta Maruyama (Professor) Researchmap

Kenta Maruyama, M.D., Ph.D., earned his M.D. from Keio University in 2008. After completing his clinical training at the National Hospital Organization Tokyo Medical Center (NTMC), he joined the Immunology Frontier Research Center (IFReC) as a research fellow. He received his Ph.D. from Osaka University in 2013 and subsequently continued his research as an Associate Professor at the National Institute for Physiological Sciences (NIPS). In 2023, he joined Aichi Medical University (AMU) as a Professor. His research focuses on senso-immunology and geriatric medicine.

Naoko Yamaguchi (Associate Professor) Researchmap

Naoko Yamaguchi, Ph.D., earned her Ph.D. from Kochi Medical School in 2003. After completing her postdoctoral training at the National Center of Neurology and Psychiatry, she served as an Assistant Professor at Kochi Medical School and later as an Associate Professor at Aichi Medical University. Her research focuses on the central mechanisms underlying stress responses and age-dependent changes in brain function.

Makoto Fujikawa (Assistant Professor) Researchmap

Makoto Fujikawa, Ph.D., earned his Ph.D. from the Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2008. After completing a postdoctoral fellowship in the ATP-Synthesis Regulation Project at the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), he worked as an Assistant Professor at the Tokyo University of Science (2012–2013) and Tokyo Medical and Dental University (2013–2021). Since 2021, he has been serving as an Assistant Professor at Aichi Medical University. His research focuses on the physiological and pathological regulation of energy metabolism.

Masashi Ueda (Assistant Professor) Researchmap

Masashi Ueda, Ph.D., earned his Ph.D. from Gifu University in 2014. In 2016, he joined the Aichi Developmental Disability Center as a research resident, where he conducted research on intellectual disabilities for four years. After serving as a research fellow at the National Center of Neurology and Psychiatry, he joined Aichi Medical University as an Assistant Professor in 2022. His research focuses on the pathological mechanisms underlying intellectual disabilities and the relationship between pubertal stress and stress-related diseases.

Haruka Asai, Ph.D., graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Kinjo Gakuin University in 2019 and was subsequently appointed as an Assistant Professor at the same institution. She earned her Ph.D. from Tokushima Bunri University in 2024 and joined Aichi Medical University as an Assistant Professor in 2025. Her research specializes in immunoallergology.
